Nathan Paulse sees a silver lining in not having qualified for the MTN8 as it affords he and his teammates a longer period to work on their weaknesses.
Having no cup commitments this coming weekend means that Paulse & co. have a significant lay off until their Absa Premiership clash with Orlando Pirates on September 13.
“We’ll work on things in the coming weeks, because it’s a while until we play again. With a bit more work we’ll be able to gel better and give an improved performance in our next match,” the 34-year-old hitman told the club’s official website.
Travis Graham who was suspended along with his coach Roger de Sa for the Baroka fixture feels the Urban Warriors produced a decent enough performance against an unknown entity to bag a point.
“I would say it’s a good point to start off the season considering that we played away, but I think we could have put in a much better performance than what we did,” Graham tells KickOff.com .
“We started off well but faded after we scored our goal by allowing them space and letting them play their game.
“Nonetheless we will take the point and build from there.”
