Ajax look to make it 3 in a row

​Ajax Cape Town will chase a hat-trick of Absa Premiership victories when they face Golden Arrows at Athlone Stadium on 3 December 2016, kick-off at 20h15.

Ajax claimed a second successive league win when they defeated champions Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 on November 30.

The warriors claimed four points from six home matches this season.

The Urban Warriors are placed 14th on the Absa Premiership log with nine points from 11 matches.

Arrows have won just one of their last five league matches after drawing 3-3 at home with Polokwane City on November 30.

The Durban side has claimed 10 points from six away matches this season.

Abafana Bes’thende are placed fourth on the Absa Premiership log with 18 points from 11 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Ajax and Arrows have met in 30 league matches since 2000/01.

The Urban Warriors have 11 wins compared to seven for Abafana Bes’thende, while 12 matches have been drawn.

Ajax have won seven of their 15 home matches against Arrows, suffering just one defeat in the process.

Last season the Urban Warriors took four points off Abafana Bes’thende, drawing 1-1 in Durban before claiming a 1-0 win at home in Cape Town.

Ajax are unbeaten in their last five league matches against Arrows.
