Match Report: Sundowns Fans vs AjaxCTfans

What a fantastic day out with friends but when we represent AjaxCTfans we family.

The Mamelodi Sundowns fans invited us to a full 90 minutes fixture at the Mfuleni Sports Ground. Many AjaxCTfans took up the  call to represent the Red and White.

Our club Ajax Cape Town supplied us with a official club kit and the guys was in high sprint ahead of kickoff.

Talking about the tactics “pass and run like hell”

The match was scheduled to start at 11h00, but only started at 13h00. The reason for this is that the pitch we had to play on was waterlogged and the Sundowns players started arriving after 12h00.

Throughout the first decade of the new millennium, there were many great matches and this was certainly not one of those matches.
The fixture showed a lack of fitness and overall skill by the fans. But that was not the point of the match. The boys and girls had fun and extended the hand of friendship with the Sundowns fans. 

When we meet the Sundowns Fans in the stands will not see them as enemies but as friends.

Many will argue that the result is not important because it was friendly but truth be told AjaxCTfans lost 2-1 to a very organised Sundowns fans team.

    To every #AjaxcTFan who donned the ‘RednWhite’and those on the sideline shouting ‘AJAX JOU LEKKE DING & STUPID REF’ an even those who cpuld not make it…….on the sidelines …..MAXIMUM RESPECT!
