Ajax Cape Town veteran forward Nathan Paulse believes young teammate and co striker Tashreeq Morris has all the attributes to make it to Europe
Well-travelled striker Paulse, who also played in Europe for Hammarby in Sweden, believes that the 22-year-old is unfortunate to have not been included in any of the national team albeit his impressive club form over the seasons but has encouraged him not to be disheartened as he has all the makings of great striker.
“I think he is one of those boys that are humble, down to earth and ever hardworking,” Paulse told The Sowetan.
“He is very intelligent as a footballer and the way he came back from an injury setback recently says a lot about his character.
“He can score goals and that has been witnessed by everyone. For me he has just been unfortunate to have not been a part of the national team by now, that is a question that needs to be asked to the right people [national team coaches].
“But has all the attributes of a great striker and in my opinion, he is destined for a career in Europe if he continues like this.
“He takes instructions really well, he is fast, strong on the ball and deadly in the box and if he continues like this, definitely he will make it.
