Ajax CEO not concerned about Aces

Yesterday kickoff.com reported that Mpumalanga Black Aces’ move to the Mother City will not affect them.

Ari Efstathiou said that Ajax Cape Town is not worried by the imminent arrival of their new city rivals.

“Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but it has no effect on us … it makes no difference to us,” he said.

“I don’t know of their plans. I don’t think it will make any difference on Ajax’s performances. The more clubs the better [for Cape Town].”

Comitis left Ajax after a bitter fued with the Efstathiou brothers in 2013, and later said: “I don’t think the management [Efstathious] is right for the club – I can say that straight-forward. They need to be people’s people and they are not; they need to know the game and they don’t … it’s as simple as that.”

Today Ari Efstathious, invited AjaxCTfans to a meeting at Ikamva at 12pm. It is open to all fans to give them an opportunity to raise concerns of the past season and look at solutions to the new season.

We hope to see you there!!
